Initially established as The Wood side Cottage Hospital, Kane Community Hospital got its start in 1887. History
Kane's first medicinal office, The Woodside Cottage Hospital, was initially an one-story wooden building situated close to the side of Biddle and Y Streets. Elizabeth Kane, MD, and her two children, Evan Kane, MD, and Thomas Kane, MD, collected the clinic in 1887.
